The College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences (CBSHS) recognized undergraduates from each of its seven academic departments during its May 12 graduation ceremony held at Littlejohn Coliseum.
During the College’s first independent commencement – a milestone indicative of its significant growth in recent years – 599 bachelor’s degrees were conferred, and graduates were honored for their hard work and achievements during their time at Clemson University.
“Commencement is always a momentous occasion for our students – and our College,” said Leslie Hossfeld, dean of the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences. “But it was especially gratifying to honor our graduates – and witness an outstanding show of support from family, friends and CBSHS faculty – during the College’s very first independent ceremony. I am so proud of our robust student body and wish our graduates the very best in their next phase of life. Congratulations to the Class of 2023!”
Additionally, CBSHS conferred 133 graduate degrees in ceremonies throughout the week.
