College celebrates outstanding staff at holiday luncheon

Staff members from Clemson University’s largest college received awards on Dec. 2 for performance and accomplishments that go above and beyond to make a lasting impact on students, faculty and fellow staff.

Honorees received their awards during an annual holiday luncheon at the Madren Conference Center for staff in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences.

“As we celebrate the accomplishments of these exceptional individuals, I’m reminded of the dedication and talent that makes our college an incredible place to work and learn,” said O. Thompson Mefford, associate dean for undergraduate studies. “Today, we honor staff members whose contributions truly embody the spirit of excellence that defines the Clemson Experience. On behalf of Dean Gramopadhye and our leadership team, congratulations to all the awardees and thank you for your hard work and commitment.”

Technical Winner for the Dean’s Exceptional Staff Award:
Sergio Rubio Martin, Lab Technologist III, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Administrative Winners for the Dean’s Exceptional Staff Award:
Kristen Inabinet, Student Services Coordinator, General Engineering
Diane Swope, Accountant/Fiscal Technician II, Materials Science and Engineering

Hattie B. Wagener Award:
Jeremiah Farmer, Student Services Manager, Automotive Engineering

CECAS Staff Excellence Award:

Wally Dunn, Grants Administrator II, Proposal Development Office
