Clemson – This summer marks the return of “On the Ave,” Clemson’s beloved outdoor music series. Co-hosted by the City of Clemson and the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, “On the Ave” will feature live music and outdoor dining from 5:30-9 p.m. beginning Tuesday, May 14, and continuing every Tuesday throughout June on College Avenue.
“We’re excited for another fantastic ‘On the Ave’ concert series,” says Mayor Robert Halfacre. “The highlight for me is seeing our community gather together to enjoy local cuisine and outstanding musical talent.”
“On the Ave” is presented by the City of Clemson in a new partnership with the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, which will provide production support including audio equipment and soundboard operators for each event.
“I’m excited to be partnering with the City of Clemson for ‘On the Ave’ and to support seven great bands with our professional team of audio technicians and state-of-the-art equipment,” says Janice Crews, executive director of the Brooks Center.
This year’s “On the Ave” music lineup offers a variety of musical styles, including pop, alternative, country and classic rock. Attendees will enjoy performances from some of the most talented artists in the southeast region.
