Clemson’s Division of Community, Engagement, Belonging and Access (CEBA) announced the launch of The National Educational Success Summits presented by Clemson University to provide a unique platform for transforming students into tomorrow’s talented, next-generation workforce. Programs include the Women’s Roundtable Summit and the Men of Impact Summit, formerly the National Men of Color Summit.
CEBA promotes initiatives and programs open to all that create connection, encourage academic advancement and foster a culture of full inclusion. Since 2017, the events under the Success Summits umbrella have served a vital role in higher ed, K-12 education and workforce development. The University recently adopted a new, long-range strategic plan, Clemson Elevate, inviting event organizers and CEBA leadership to look more broadly at the impact of the University’s hallmark inclusive excellence events.
In conjunction with the launch of Clemson Elevate, CEBA worked to establish goals that would enable the plan including:
1. Building positive relationships.
2. Broadening collective understanding.
3. Providing experiential learning opportunities.
4. Engaging in innovative, collaborative research.
Initiatives like the Women’s Roundtable and Men of Impact are intentionally aligned with these goals and play a critical role in helping fulfill them.
Entering its eighth year, the Men of Impact Summit focuses on the success of men from all backgrounds as they ascend to their highest potential, paving clear pathways to higher education and career advancement. Collaborative workshops, mentorship and inspiring speakers aim to equip participants with the skills, resources and support they need to overcome barriers, achieve personal and professional peaks, and make a lasting impact in our communities. This summit, which averages over 2,000 participants annually, is a place to connect, grow and rise together as we redefine success and build resilient, impactful futures.
Clemson’s Women’s Roundtable brings together about 500 participants to emphasize the importance of education and networking, with an emphasis on STEM careers. The event features well-known keynote speakers, a panel of women professionals, and various roundtable conversations regarding academic, career and personal achievement. Attendees also receive essential tools and skill sets to help them better navigate educational and professional settings. Sessions and keynote speeches are designed to bring heightened awareness to these issues for all participants and provide career pathways and mentoring to those in attendance.
The 2025 Men of Impact event will be held in Greenville April 10-11, 2025, with the 2025 Women’s Roundtable scheduled for the Fall. Both events are open to all until registration meets capacity.
