The Clemson University Board of Trustees approved the appointment of April Purvis as Executive Secretary to the Board of Trustees effective Nov. 15. Purvis currently serves as chief operating officer and legal counsel for the Clemson University Foundation and will take over responsibilities from Major General Henry C. “Hank” Morrow (Ret.) who served in the role since 2022.

We are excited to welcome April to this important role, and we appreciate the outstanding work by General Morrow. April’s expanding roles with the Clemson University Foundation and her dedication to our University will position her and the entire Board Office for continued success.
