Campus Community Update – Sept. 27

Clemson Community,

We hope you and your loved ones are safe. As Hurricane Helene makes its way out of the area, gusty winds continue and our emergency operations team, along with partner agencies have begun to assess the impacts to our campus and surrounding areas.

Facilities crews continue evaluations, and we know there are widespread power outages, downed trees and inaccessible roads and walkways.

Campus remains closed today, so please do not visit. And for the students and essential employees here and for individuals across the Upstate and Midlands, please exercise caution. Do not walk or drive through standing water, and avoid any downed trees or power lines.
