The Clemson University Learning Institute (CULI) is looking for enthusiastic and energetic students to serve as instructors for its C-CATS (Clemson’s Challenge for Academically Talented Students) educational program in the spring of 2026. This is a paid position of $250 per weekend with potential for summer work. Staff can select four weekends to work in the spring; the dates are on the C-CATS website. The program recruits both middle school and high school students from South Carolina and surrounding states to experience life as a Tiger. Instructors will assist with programming, lead campus tours and facilitate high-adventure activities at nearby Camp Hannon.
“Being a C-CATS ambassador/instructor is a great way to meet new people, make some money, and enhance your resume,” says Chad Jones, CULI’s associate executive director of residential programs.
More information is available on the program by visiting the C-CATS website. Students who are interested in becoming an ambassador/instructor should email their resume to Kaley McJunkin at kmcjunk@clemson.edu or call (864) 878-1103. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Nov. 21.
