Dear Students,

As the season of Thanksgiving approaches, I hope you find time to pause, reflect and share moments of gratitude with those who mean the most to you. This time offers more than just a break in the semester — it’s an opportunity to rest, recharge and reconnect before the final two weeks of Fall classes.

I am deeply thankful for each of you — for your resilience, curiosity and commitment to learning. You bring energy and purpose to our Clemson community every day, and it’s a privilege to walk alongside you on this journey. I’m equally grateful for the friends, mentors and loved ones who support you and help you thrive.

As we return from the holiday break, I encourage you to finish the semester strong. Whether through focused study, collaboration or moments of reflection, the work you do now builds momentum for an even brighter spring. Remember that you are not alone — your Clemson Family stands with you. Support is always available through the CARE Network, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Academic Success Center, Clemson Home and many more, including our Dean of Students Office.

To our December graduates, congratulations on reaching an important milestone. We are proud of your achievements and grateful for the impact you’ve made. Wherever your next steps lead — graduate school, a new career, military service or beyond — know that Clemson will always be home. We look forward to celebrating you alongside family and friends in Littlejohn Coliseum next month.

As always, Go Tigers!

Kimberly Poole, Ph.D.
