Fourteen new faculty have been welcomed into the College of Business fold for the 2020-21 academic year.
“Our new faculty join the College at an exciting time in the history of business education at Clemson,” said Dean Wendy York. “Attracting and retaining cutting-edge faculty will be crucial to the College becoming a national destination for the next generation of business leaders. The addition of these 14 highly qualified educators will complement our already strong cadre of 180 faculty who are advancing College’s goal of graduating mission-drive leaders capable of excelling in a dynamic global economy.”
The new faculty join the College at a time of record growth in enrollment, fundraising and infrastructure. The College of Business’ new home, a 176,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building, has been completed and will become a beehive of activity when pandemic conditions allow for its full occupancy.
Since arriving at Clemson, Dean York has propelled College of Business fundraising to record levels and mapped a strategy for business educational excellence aimed at elevating the program’s – and Clemson University’s – national stature. And, business school enrollment is at a record high, with more than 5,000 students enrolled in the College.
