Within athletic venues, it’s one of the nation’s oldest and most intense rivalries.
And now, students, faculty and staff from both Clemson University and the University of South Carolina will have their chance to take part in the competition.
The two schools have agreed to hold a flu shot competition this fall. Students can receive vaccines at the Redfern Health Center, while faculty and staff can do the same across the street at the Joseph F. Sullivan Center. Those receiving flu shots at the Sullivan Center or from an off-campus provider are encouraged to self-report the vaccine. The final day to self-report is Dec. 7.
Flu Vaccine Clinics are held every Wednesday at Redfern Health Center, no appointment necessary. Walk in between 9:30–11 a.m. and 1:30–4:15 p.m. to get the flu vaccine. You can also walk in and get the flu vaccine through the Nurse’s Clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30–11 a.m. and 1:30–4:15 p.m. Employees should contact the Sullivan Center website for flu shot hours and locations.
