Clemson University leadership has approved the 2025 Holiday Schedule.
The 2025 Holiday Schedule is listed below.

The Optional Holiday will return in 2025 for eligible faculty and staff. The “optional holiday” is a paid day off that employees may choose to take during the calendar year. Eligible employees must schedule the optional holiday with their supervisor using the online leave system. It does not carry over to the following calendar year. If not taken by the end of the 2025 calendar year, the optional holiday will be voided.
Due to the transition from Kronos to PeopleSoft Time and Leave, employees will not be able to request the 2025 optional holiday in Kronos. Faculty and staff should wait to submit their request until the University transitions to PeopleSoft Time and Leave.

Fall break for Clemson students will occur in October.

Dates are subject to change as conditions warrant. Please note some employees may follow the S.C. State and County holiday calendar and can verify their holiday schedule with their supervisor.
