Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business ranked the #1 business school in South Carolina

The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business is starting the academic year with standout national and state rankings. According to the latest Niche report, the College ranks:

• #1 College for Business in South Carolina
• #1 Best College for Accounting and Finance in South Carolina
• #1 Best College for Economics in South Carolina
• #30 of 805 Best Colleges for Accounting and Finance in the nation
• #38 of 1,215 Best Colleges for Business in the nation

Since 2018, the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business has experienced tremendous growth across the board, contributing to these recognitions. This year, the College welcomed one of its biggest groups of first year students, with 1,181 becoming Clemson Tigers. These students were chosen out of more than 16,900 students who applied to become business majors at Clemson, accounting for 26% of all applications to the University. This year’s s first year students include:

• 19 valedictorians and 16 salutatorians
• 104 Palmetto Fellows (state’s top scholarship)
• 61 Honors College students
• Over 500 students graduating in the top 10% of their high school class
