Dr. Suzanne Price named assistant vice president for Auxiliary Enterprises

Dr. Suzanne Price has been named Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Enterprises, effective July 16.

Price has been a fixture in Clemson Home, having served in the division since 2009, when she joined as the Associate Director for Academic Initiatives before being promoted to her most recent role as the Director of Residential Learning in 2015. Price has provided more than two decades of service to the University, having served in various leadership roles for the University in Leadership and Civic Engagement, Student Accessibility Services and Student Development Services. She also serves as a board member for the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International (ACUHO-I).

Kathy Hobgood, associate Vice President for Auxiliary Enterprises, looks forward to Price’s continued service to the University in her new role.

“Price has made substantive contributions to student learning and major certificate and curriculum initiatives,” Hobgood said. “We look forward to seeing her continue to work leveraging campus-wide partnerships on behalf of on-campus residential communities and all of Auxiliary Enterprises.”

Price arrived at Clemson in 1998 as the Assistant Director for Student Disability Services and has also held teaching positions as a guest lecturer for the Department of Counseling Education, the College of Education, and the Women’s Leadership Department. Price graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in 1996. Price then received two degrees from Clemson, graduating with her master’s in Counseling and Guidance Services in 1998 and her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership in 2004.
