On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 3-4 p.m., CCIT’s Research Computing and Data (RCD) group will share updates and announcements at their Virtual Town Hall. Anyone in the campus community interested in learning more about the RCD group or various updates about high-performance computing topics at Clemson University is encouraged to attend. During this meeting, members of the RCD team will present the following updates and topics for discussion:

  • changes to RCD personnel
  • plans for the Spring 2025 maintenance window
  • new compute nodes added to Palmetto 2
  • upcoming Granite environment for CUI, PHI, and NIST 800-171 (NIH) research
  • updates to ReDCAT leadership
  • updates to Indigo storage expiration notifications
  • rollout of new Job Defense Shield tool
