Dear Clemson Community,
I am excited to share that Clemson University has officially received reaccreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). SACSCOC’s Board of Trustees decision to reaffirm our accreditation for another 10 years is also coupled with a final report from their Board of Trustees that contained no findings, recommendations, or third-party comments. As the body for managing accreditation for colleges and universities across the southern region of the United States, SACSCOC’s mission is to ensure postsecondary institutions provide an effective and quality education. To receive reaccreditation for the next decade with no areas of concern is a testament to the incredible commitment and dedication of our faculty, staff and students.
This amazing achievement is a reflection of the quality of a Clemson degree, our culture and our core values. It demonstrates why Clemson University continues to be recognized as a national leader in academics, research, student experience, effectiveness and trustworthiness. I want to give a special thank you to Provost Jones and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness for their work throughout the reaccreditation process. I also want to thank everyone involved, including many of our outstanding faculty, staff and students. The work you do every day is continuing to elevate Clemson even further.
