The widening of Perimeter Road will enter its final paving phase this week, requiring occasional closures and altered traffic patterns. Please exercise caution when driving around active construction areas and obey all traffic signs.

Perimeter Road paving schedule (weather permitting)
Oct. 12-13: Crews will begin milling, leveling and completing the final preparation for paving.
Oct. 15-19: The intersection of Highway 76 and Perimeter will be closed nightly (between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.) for paving.
Oct. 23-25: Eastbound lanes moving from Williamson to Highway 76 will be paved one full lane at a time. The eastbound half of all intersections will be closed as the crew paves through the area. Each closure should last approximately one hour.
Oct. 26-28 and Oct. 30-Nov. 2: Westbound lanes moving from Williamson to Highway 76 will be paved one full lane at a time. The westbound half of all intersections will be closed as the crew paves through the area. Each closure should last approximately one hour.
Nov. 6-completion: Crews will complete final signal installation, apply permanent pavement markings, perform landscaping, and clean up.
