The College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences is bringing several student support programs and services together under a single name: PEER — Programs for Educational Enrichment and Retention.
Formerly known as PEER & WISE, PEER reflects a more connected approach to a range of mentoring, tutoring, academic support, life coaching and student success services designed to help students throughout their Clemson Experience.
This change reflects how our programs and services have evolved over time. PEER gives us one clear identity for the many ways we support students academically, personally and professionally.

While the name is changing, PEER continues its longstanding mission of helping students build the skills, confidence and connections they need to thrive in rigorous engineering, computing and applied sciences programs.
Academic Support
PEER helps students navigate the demands of their coursework through tutoring, practice exams, academic guidance, study spaces and other learning resources.
Mentoring & Community
Peer mentoring, coaching and community-building opportunities give students encouragement, perspective and connections with others who understand their academic journey.
Growth & Careers
Career development, networking and life coaching help students prepare for opportunities beyond the classroom and build connections with peers, mentors and industry professionals.
The transition to PEER provides a simpler, more unified identity for this network of programs and services while building on the relationships and resources that have supported Clemson students for decades.
The PEER office is located on the first floor of Freeman Hall in room 158.
