Paw Pantry hosting donation drive competition Nov. 18-22 against USC

Clemson University’s Paw Pantry is hosting a donation drive competition against in-state rivals from the University of South Carolina from Nov. 18-22. Much like the Blood Bowl, donations will be collected for food pantries at the two universities in the week before the annual rivalry game is renewed on the football field.

Paw Pantry accepts a wide variety of items, but specifically needs pasta, rice, healthy snack foods, cleaning supplies and hygienic products. Items can be donated directly to the Paw Pantry — located in room 233 of Sirrine Hall — or in collection bins that have been placed near blood donation buses next to Core Campus, Hendrix Student Center and the library bridge.

Paw Pantry is a community-wide movement that aims to reduce food insecurity and promote well-being by ensuring students’ foundational and nutritional needs are met. The Pantry is available to any current student with a valid CUID, with no additional questions asked.
