Faculty and staff returning to campus for the Spring semester should be aware of several parking changes and are reminded to obtain a valid parking permit from Parking and Transportation Services.

Purchase permits online at www.clemson.edu/parking under the Manage My Account tab. Available permits include repositionable windshield permits for 2021, employee Park-N-Ride permits, employee motorcycle/moped permits and $3 per day temporary permits. The Carpool program is suspended for the Spring semester. It will be reevaluated in the fall.

Employees who are driving a new or different vehicle or who have new license plates should remember to associate their parking permits with those vehicles or plate numbers.

There also are changes to these Park-N-Ride locations:

  • The designated parking location for West Park-N-Ride permit holders will temporarily change from P-06 at the Snow Center to the orange spaces located along Ravenel Road on the north side of Littlejohn Coliseum. Ravenel Road is a one-way street accessible from Perimeter Road. Permit-holders parking on Ravenel Road can ride the Orange Route bus, which comes every eight minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
  • East Park-N-Ride permit-holders should park in the orange spaces in aisles 10-11 in the C-1 Parking Lot.
East Park-N-Ride permit-holders should park in the orange spaces in aisles 10-11 in the C-1 Parking Lot.

The designated parking lot location for East Park-N-Ride permit holders will temporarily change from the P-05/P-07 lots at Highway 76 to the orange spaces located in aisles 10-11 in the C-1 Parking Lot (see highlighted section in the image at right). The C-1 parking lot is accessed from Perimeter Road or Cherry Road. The Blue Route bus comes to the C-1 lot every 7-12 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Blue Route stops at the bus stop between aisles 3 and 4 and in aisle 12 at the parking meter.
