Nominations for four prestigious student awards are open

Faculty, staff and students are invited to nominate deserving individuals for four prestigious awards that recognize students for exemplary academic performance, leadership and service to Clemson University and the broader community.

The window for nominations is currently open with the following submission deadlines:

Students may be nominated for multiple awards, but supporting documentation must be submitted separately for each award. Students may self-nominate or be nominated by a Clemson University faculty member, staff member or student.

Award descriptions and eligibility requirements are listed below.

STUDENT AWARDS
Norris Medal: Considered the most prestigious undergraduate student award, the honor is given to the best all-around graduating senior.

Matt Locke Leadership Award: Presented to one student for outstanding leadership with regard to service and devotion to humankind and Clemson University.

Frank A. Burtner Scholarship: Presented to rising juniors and seniors at Clemson University who display exemplary leadership qualities and an outstanding academic record.

Algernon Sydney Sullivan Student Award: Presented to two students from the graduating class for outstanding service to Clemson University and the extended Clemson community.
