Grace Baldwin serves as the multimedia graphic designer for the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine. She brings experience in graphic design, creative strategy and visual storytelling to the Marketing and Communications team.

Baldwin earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Southeastern University, where her passion for publication design and visual communication developed through hands-on work in campus communications, marketing initiatives and student publications. Her background in print, editorial design and brand storytelling continues to shape her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to creative work.

Earlier in her career, Baldwin taught middle and high school visual arts, an experience that strengthened her communication skills and process-driven approach to design.

“Helping student gain and foster a love of art was a special experience for me as an educator and artist. I, in turn, learned valuable lessons as well. That experience continues to influence how I translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals,” Baldwin said.

Her decision to join the PCVM was driven by both the institution’s mission and the opportunity to help shape something from scratch.

“I was drawn to the PCVM because of the opportunity to be part of something new and impactful from the ground up,” Baldwin said. “Clemson’s strong sense of community, innovation and commitment to student success made it especially exciting to me.”

In her role, Baldwin looks forward to collaborating across the college and contributing to its continued growth through visual communication and storytelling.

“I’m looking forward to helping tell the story of a growing college in a meaningful and engaging way through impactful visuals and high-level social media strategy,” she said.

As the college continues to expand, Baldwin hopes her work will highlight the amazing work that is being done to build South Carolina’s first College of Veterinary Medicine.

“I hope to help build a strong visual identity and sense of connection within the college through thoughtful design, storytelling and communication that highlights the people and mission behind PCVM,” she said.

Baldwin’s creative interests include painting, printmaking and publication design, and she is especially passionate about advocating for the continued relevance of print in an increasingly digital landscape.

Outside of work, she enjoys art, design, reading and spending time outdoors. She also loves animals, particularly her cat, Mia!
