Brittney McCall is the Chief Business Officer for the College of Veterinary Medicine. McCall oversees the finance operations, stewarding the college’s resources, assets and business affairs through strategic budget and financial planning. Joining the team in December of 2023, she says she was captivated by the opportunity to help build a new college for Clemson.
“It felt like embarking on an exciting new journey,” said McCall. “Naturally, my deep affection for animals only added to my enthusiasm. Being part of the inaugural veterinary school in South Carolina, especially at my Alma mater, carried profound significance and made the opportunity even more meaningful.”
Among her responsibilities, she’s tasked with establishing a robust financial framework for CVM. She says her approach is collaborative and creative in her shared vision to elevate the college to a national stage.
“I hope to bring my previous experience from Clemson’s College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences (CECAS) to establish a solid financial infrastructure with streamlined processes. Additionally, I aim to foster a culture of active listening, prioritizing assistance, establishing exceptional teamwork, and consistently striving for improvement in our endeavors.”
McCall has served in various finance-related roles for over 15 years. She brings experience, enthusiasm, and a positive energy to her role each day. She hopes to contribute to the success of CVM by working to create a cohesive culture that aligns with the culture of Clemson University.
“I hope my passion for my work and peers creates a culture of positive leadership that inspires others and contributes to many operational successes.”
Brittney, Tim and their three kids (Andi, Wren and Letty) manage a farm in Walhalla where their free time is spent row cropping and caring for a goat herd and three dogs.
