Open Enrollment will kick off later this week on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

During Open Enrollment, eligible employees can enroll or make changes to their insurance coverage to take effect January 1, 2027. If changes are not made by the deadline (October 31, at 11:59 p.m.), employees cannot make changes until the next open enrollment period, or within 31 days of a qualifying life event.

Employees satisfied with their current elections, as displayed in PEBA MyBenefits, do not need to take any steps to continue their coverage in 2027 unless they wish to re-enroll in Money Plus flexible spending accounts. MoneyPlus participants must re-enroll each year to continue coverage.

2027 Highlights

Health insurance premiums for active employees will not increase in 2027.  Basic Dental and Dental Plus premiums will also stay the same.

State vision premiums will increase slightly.

It is not a dental year. Employees wishing to enroll in or make changes to dental plans must wait until Open Enrollment in October 2027, or within 31 days of a qualifying life event.

Prepare for Enrollment

Elections and changes can be made between October 1 and October 31, 2026. An Open Enrollment 2026 webpage will launch later this week with comprehensive information and resources about your options for insurance coverage.

Prior to open enrollment, eligible employees are encouraged to access PEBA’s MyBenefits portal to review their current insurance coverage. Employees may also access Workday to review current payroll deduction amounts.
