Our Clemson

With Clemson launching Workday in just a few weeks, the Workday program team has created a short checklist to help ensure you’re ready for July 1.

  1. Take Workday Basics training and any other additional training you may be assigned. Faculty and staff will receive emails when they are enrolled in additional training courses.
  2. Pay attention to upcoming cutover deadlines that impact hiring, payroll and timekeeping.
  3. Submit any leave requests through June 30 as soon as possible. Leave requests submitted after July 1 must be submitted in Workday.
  4. Managers should review and approve timecards and leave requests weekly. This helps ensure accurate data transfer into Workday.
  5. Review direct deposit and W-4 elections. June 19 is the last day to update these elections in our current system (PeopleSoft) before the data is moved to Workday.
  6. Ensure your web browsers and devices are able to access Workday.
  7. Explore the Workday@Clemson website, which includes a new glossary of terms and additional informational resources.
  8. Find the leader of your area’s Local Resource Group, who is available to answer questions about Workday.
  9. Ask a question to the Workday@Clemson team. If you have a training question, email workdaytraining@clemson.edu

More information for suggested Workday Day One tasks will be shared closer to go-live.
