In less than a week, our inaugural class of veterinary students will arrive for orientation, and the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine will officially welcome the Class of 2030.
For Director of Admissions and Student Services, Dr. Tajuan Sellars, the moment is especially meaningful. For the past year and half, he has watched the college take shape, from a building frame to a finished, welcoming space ready to serve our students, our pioneers.

“It’s hard to put into words what it means to watch this all come together. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a unique professional experience and to have a front-row seat as we build a robust educational program that will make a lasting difference for South Carolina and veterinary students for generations to come.”
From plain framed walls to warm and furnished spaces, the journey has been extraordinary. And now, the best is yet to come.

A look back…
