As you prepare for the Fall 2026 semester, Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) reminds all students a valid parking permit is required to park on main campus, even in metered spaces.
Get started:
- Purchase your permit and view parking information on the PATS website.
- Download the Tigers Commute app for real-time parking availability, bus routes and ride-sharing information.
1. Download the Tigers Commute App
The Tigers Commute app is your primary resource for getting around campus.
With the app, you can:
- View real-time availability of more than 10,000 monitored parking spaces
- Find commuter, park-n-ride, metered, accessible and EV charging spaces
- Access campus transit information and ride-sharing options
A web version is also available at TigersCommute.com.
2. More Student Commuter Parking Available
PATS has added more than 1,700 new student commuter parking spaces.
New and Expanded Commuter Parking
Students should use designated commuter parking located:
- On-street: Press Road (new), Williamson Road (expanded), Centennial Boulevard, Avenue of Champions, and Ravenel Road
- Commuter lots: C-1, C-1 Ext. (new), C-2 (new), C-3, C-4, C-7, C-8 (new), C-9, C-11, C-13, C-14, C-15, C-18 (new), C-19 (new), P-4, P-7, and P-8
Use the campus parking map and the Tigers Commute app to locate available parking before arriving on campus.
3. Consider Park-N-Ride
Park-N-Ride permits provide a low-cost ($50) parking option for commuter students.
- Available at East Park-n-Ride (P-7 & P-8) and West Park-n-Ride (P-6)
- Valid in Park-N-Ride lots:
- Monday–Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- After 4:30 p.m. on weekdays (until 2:30 a.m.) and from Thursday at 4:30 p.m. through Monday at 7 a.m., permits follow standard commuter parking rules for campus access.

4. Join Clemson’s FREE Carpool Program
Save money, reduce traffic and enjoy a more convenient commute by joining Clemson’s carpool program.
- Free, reserved parking spaces are available for approved carpools.
- Share your ride with fellow Tigers while receiving the benefit of a designated reserved parking space.

5. Transit Service Updates
New Bus Service
- Green route now serves the Nieri Family Alumni and Visitors Center Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with buses approximately every 25 minutes.
- A new commuter route now provides service to C-8 (Kite Hill) and the C-4 lot.
- An additional blue route bus is being added to provide service to C-1 Ext. and C-19 (Lightsey) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Service Change
- Transit service to the C-14 gravel lot has been discontinued.
- Clemson Nightline has new hours of operation this fall, seven days a week from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
CATbus
Beginning on the first day of classes, CATbus red and gold routes will operate at 15-minute peak service:
- 7–11 a.m.
- 2–6:30 p.m.
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m (operates 30-minute service)
