To honor Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Robert H. Jones for his steadfast support of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Clemson University, the Provost Robert Jones Endowment has been established to ensure the continued growth and success of OLLI. The announcement was made during a special luncheon on Wednesday celebrating OLLI’s more than 20 years of enriching the Upstate community with lifelong learning opportunities.
The formation of the endowment was a surprise for Provost Jones, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to OLLI’s volunteer board of directors for their leadership and generosity. He also extended thanks to Associate Provost for Curriculum Innovation Sharon Nagy, OLLI Director Mary Brock and the dedicated OLLI staff and volunteers for their unwavering commitment to the Institute.
I was surprised and humbled to learn about the Provost Robert Jones Endowment, which is an honor. This new endowment ensures that OLLI will continue to thrive as a hub of learning and connection for Upstate residents for generations to come.”
