The Clemson University Emeritus College will hold 2023 Emeritus Day on April 25, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Madren Center, which will also feature the 2022-2023 New Emeriti Recognition Ceremony and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Emeritus College. President Jim Clements and Provost Bob Jones will honoring the emeriti for 2022-2023 with a ceremony beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the BellSouth Auditorium at the Madren Center. The College’s new book, “Moments and Memories: Reflections of Emeritus College Faculty” will also be available.
The Emeritus College will recognize this year’s Eubanks Fellows and the Distinguished Emeriti for 2023. A plated lunch will be served, and Dr. Clifton “Chip” Egan, Professor and Dean Emeritus will serve as the keynote speaker. Lunch is free to emeriti with a $20 donation requested for each guest.
