COVID-19 UPDATES: Thanksgiving testing requirements and hours; VaxClinic information

POST-THANKSGIVING TESTING REQUIREMENTS AND DATES OF OPERATION SET

Clemson announced adjusted testing due dates around the Thanksgiving break for residential students, non-residential students and all main campus faculty and staff.

Leading into Thanksgiving, individuals with test due dates of the week Nov. 21-27 will receive a grace period until the testing dates listed below for the week after Thanksgiving.  

Regardless of vaccination status, all main campus students, faculty, and staff are required to complete a COVID-19 test on the following dates:

Residential students – Monday, Nov. 29

Non-residential students – Monday, Nov. 29 – Wednesday, Dec. 1

Faculty and Staff – Monday, Nov. 29 – Friday, Dec. 3

Note: Students, faculty, and staff do not need to be tested within 90 days of previous infection with proper information regarding positive test result. Full information on COVID testing is available on the University’s COVID website.

Registration and updated hours of operation for University-provided testing can be found here for testing at all available sites.

Individuals may get tested at any location of their choice. If not tested through the University using the Rymedi platform, results must be uploaded to the COVID-19 Test Upload Tool

HOURS OF OPERATION

Main campus testing will be open at Littlejohn Coliseum from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22 and Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Additionally, hours will be from 7-5 on Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 29-Dec. 1 and from 7-2 on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 2-3.

Registration is recommended, and updated hours of operation can be found on the registration page for testing at all available sites

In an effort to protect members of the testing staff, as well as vulnerable students and employees among our community, please remember face coverings are required inside the testing site at Littlejohn Coliseum.

VaxClinic Expands Initial Vaccine and Booster Availability on Campus

Clemson University is offering both initial and booster COVID-19 vaccines through Vax Clinic at Littlejohn Coliseum during selected dates throughout the remainder of the Fall semester. Students, faculty, staff, and family members who are six months past their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or two months past a single dose of Johnson & Johnson, are eligible to receive booster shots through the clinic.

While walk-ins are accepted registering in advance is encouraged to avoid long lines. View the registration link here
