The Clemson Outdoor Recreation and Education (CORE) program in the Department of Campus Recreation is offering exclusive opportunities this summer to faculty and staff. In addition to a Summer Kickoff, employees can participate in several outdoor recreational activities at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Complex, or through a guided CORE trip in late July.
Full details are below and registration links are available on the Campus Rec website. Email CORE for more information.
Summer Kickoff — Sunday, May 3 from 4-7 p.m.
Warm weather is here, and whether you’re gearing up for a camping trip, grabbing a paddleboard, soaking in the sun on the beach or trying something new — CORE has you covered!

Join us on May 3 for the Summer Kickoff on the shores of Lake Hartwell for three hours of fun at the Snow Complex. The day includes demos on camping, paddleboarding and kayaking, s’mores at the fire pit and a tour of the Andy Quattlebaum Outdoor Education Center — affectionately known as Andy’s.
Remember, equipment and resources are available throughout the summer via Campus Rec memberships or day passes.
The Summer Kickoff is free for faculty and staff, and families are welcome!
