Construction will begin Sunday, November 2, on the new 90,000-square-foot medical office building that will replace the Redfern Health Center. The facility will be built on the site of the current C-1 lot, resulting in a five-phase process to close sections of the lot beginning Fall 2025 through Summer 2027. To assist commuter students, increased Park-N-Ride service will be available with shuttles arriving every six minutes.

Construction dates are subject to weather conditions and may change. Up-to-date information on this and other projects are available on the University Facilities Construction Map

  • Fencing will go up around a portion of the site as part of the first construction phase on Sunday, November 2.
  • The second phase runs from late November to mid-December, resulting in a wider construction footprint.
  • After Fall Commencement on December 18, the project will enter phase three through May 2026. Parking and Transportation will begin Park-N-Ride shuttle service from the P-5 and P-5 Extension lots at the beginning of the Spring semester.
  • The fourth and fifth phases will run from May 2026 through the project’s completion, scheduled for May 2027.
