Clemson University’s Campus Recreation department offers a wide array of resources for students to stay active and engaged on campus — all with the goal of facilitating well-being and, therefore, encouraging success during students’ time at Clemson and beyond. Because these activities are specifically designed to serve and benefit students, Campus Rec works diligently to spread awareness about available programs and initiatives.
On Friday, Feb. 21, Campus Rec will be sponsoring a comprehensive “Rec Day” to provide students an overview of what they can do in a day across several of the department’s best-in-class facilities. Events are scheduled to span the whole day, beginning as early as 6:45 a.m. and concluding at 7:30 p.m.
Below is the featured event schedule. More information can be found on the Campus Rec website.

The goal of the Rec Day initiative is to open students’ eyes to everything Campus Rec has to offer and provide an opportunity for students to discover new activities that positively contribute to their holistic Clemson experience, according to Assistant Director of Member Services Megan Jahngen.
“Rec Day serves as a platform to highlight the full spectrum of collegiate recreation, allowing patrons to engage in a variety of recreational activities across all program areas,” she says. “This event not only showcases our diverse offerings, but also reinforces our commitment to inclusivity and well-being, while recognizing each individual’s role in the broader Clemson Recreation Experience — both on Rec Day and throughout the year.”
