When the city of Clemson ends curbside recycling in the city Aug. 1., University faculty and staff can bring their recyclables to the Kite Hill Recycling Center and aluminum cans can be dropped off at Clemson Fire Station #2 on 740 Issaqueena Trail.

Kite Hill

On Mondays through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kite Hill will accept recyclables from all area residents, so those who live in other communities without curbside recycling can bring them to the campus.

Clemson Fire Station #2

Clemson University’s Fire & EMS (Clemson Fire Station #2) is participating in the Burn Foundation of America “Can It” Recycling Program. Support the mission of the Burn Foundation by recycling your aluminum cans.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Collect your cans and place them in a plastic bag.
  2. Drop the bag in the Can-It trailer at Clemson Fire Station #2 at 740 Issaqueena Trail, Clemson.
  3. Enjoy the satisfaction of helping burn patients while making our planet a nicer place to live.
