There will be a steam outage across all of the main campus beginning at 12:01 a.m. Monday, May 10, and ending at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 12.
It will affect everything that uses steam, including building heating systems, hot water, autoclaves/sterilizers, dishwashers and any equipment process or research activities that use central campus steam.
The outage is necessary to inspect, repair and maintain steam generation and distribution equipment.
