Facilities teams will take advantage of winter break to work on campus improvement projects that will temporarily impact two buildings and at least one road.

The north lane of Calhoun Drive in front Riggs Hall will be closed December 14-20 for the construction of a new sidewalk on the north side of the street adjacent to Trustee Park. The south lane will remain open for two-way traffic with signs and other aids to direct traffic.

The work will continue December 21 to January 5 on the south side of Calhoun Drive in front of Riggs as crews repair and replace the sidewalk, ramps, gutters and curbs. The parking spaces in front of Riggs Hall will be closed during this part of the project.

The schedules could be affected by inclement weather.

The majority of Lee Hall will experience an air conditioning outage starting at 8 a.m. December 28 and ending December 31 while crews replace a chilled water pump. The Lee Hall wood shop air conditioning will remain unavailable until February 5.
