Our Clemson

Clemson University faculty can embed themselves at Prisma Health to conduct medical research through the Clemson University School of Health Research (CUSHR) Faculty Fellows program.

CUSHR Faculty Fellows are tenure-track and tenured faculty members who work in a Prisma Health department for a semester and summer to lead health-related scholarship. This “pseudo-sabbatical” program enables faculty to be released from teaching and focus on health research for a semester.

Program details, requirements and application instructions are available in the Call for Applications. Applications are due July 1. An informational Zoom session will be held at 11 a.m. May 11 for interested faculty.

Past Faculty Fellows have spanned numerous disciplines, including education, construction science, bioengineering, communication, physics and astronomy, industrial engineering, psychology and chemistry. Faculty Fellows work with Prisma Health clinicians to pursue research that directly benefits community health. Learn more about the program online
