The Center for Career & Professional Development is excited to announce the S.C. Experiential Learning Grant: Intern&Earn, a state-funded pilot program for undergraduate students engaging in off-campus internships in Summer 2024.

Students enrolled in an eligible Summer 2024 INT course and accepted into the S.C. Experiential Learning Grant: Intern&Earn program can qualify to receive supplementary funding for their internship experience. Students can receive additional monies for their experience ranging from $750 to $3250, with the average S.C. resident receiving $1,250. The disbursements for this pilot program are dependent on variables like a student’s state residency and financial need and will be available until the grant monies are exhausted.

Qualifying students must:

  • Be undergraduates who have secured an internship for Summer 2024 and completed the Internship Funding Request Form.
  • Enroll in an eligible Summer 2024 INT course (e.g., part-time internship: INT 1010/1020/1030, full-time internship: INT 2010/2020/2030, or international internship: 3010). This enrollment can be concurrent with a major-specific or program-required internship course.  For more information about the program and to apply, visit our website.
