Clemson’s Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Chief HR Officer Ale Kennedy has been selected to serve a three-year term on the national board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She will join the board as the Southern Region representative on July 1.
Noting Kennedy’s recent work as a member of CUPA-HR’s Southern Region Board of Directors and her earlier work on two of the association’s important committees, Public Policy and Professional Development, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Tony Wagner said, “Ale’s commitment to service has been evident throughout her more than two decades with CUPA-HR. This will be her second time serving on the association’s national board, allowing her to represent Clemson University within the more than 2000 member institutions in higher education.”
“We are so pleased to welcome Ale to the national board,” said CUPA-HR President and Chief Executive Officer Andy Brantley. “She joins an outstanding group of higher education leaders from across the country as an at-large member of the CUPA-HR board of directors.”
