Dear Clemson Family,
As we settle into a new semester and academic year, many of our athletic teams have already begun their seasons, and it is with great excitement that we welcome in the 2025 football season! I am looking forward to joining tens of thousands of Clemson students, alumni, and fans at home in Death Valley, and in stadiums around the country, to cheer on our Tigers.
Today is First Friday and tomorrow we kick off the football season with a much-anticipated home opener vs. LSU. With our past success and the expectation of another great season, the national spotlight is already shining brightly on us – on the playing field, in the stands, and on social media – so let’s continue to showcase our world-class hospitality.
Clemson takes great pride in welcoming visitors to our main campus and community, and demonstrating good sportsmanship to the visiting team, coaches, officials, and other fans. Let’s be passionate about our Tigers, courteous to our visitors, and respectful of all fans who gather to enjoy each game. Clemson has long been well-known for our gameday hospitality and that is a culture of which we should all be proud.
On Saturday, I encourage you to show up early, wear your orange, cheer our Tigers to victory, and remember to remain in the stands until the team sings the alma mater and is ready for us to safely join them on the field for the Gathering at the Paw.
All eyes are on us, Tiger Nation, so let’s set the example and remember that every time you show your “Solid Orange” pride, you represent this great University and the entire Clemson Family. Thank you for your support!
Go Tigers!
