Clemson University has announced the formation of the Division of Civil and Individual Rights, which will be home to the Title IX Office and ADA Coordinator.

The division will be led by Associate Vice President and Title IX Coordinator Chris Miller. Dr. Miller previously served as Vice President for Student Affairs and Special Assistant to the President.

Previously called the Office of Access, Compliance and Education, the new division is responsible for compliance with the University’s Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Notice and Policy, and related laws, in coordination with the Office of Human Resources and Student Accessibility Services.

Clemson is currently celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the University’s Accessibility Web Portal is a centralized accessibility resource for Clemson students, employees and visitors.
