Stacia Harris is the Director of Marketing and Communications for the College of Veterinary Medicine. Harris’s career in journalism, creative services, marketing and PR spans over two decades and provided her the opportunity to move across the country and back again. A Greenville, S.C. native, Harris saw the College of Veterinary Medicine as a unique and exciting opportunity to move back home and leverage her skillset to support the College’s success.

“As the school communicator for CVM, I am looking forward to bringing the Clemson Community amazing stories as our college continues to grow. As the first veterinary college in South Carolina, we will be impacting the lives of people and animals in positive ways and filling a dire need in our area and across the country. There will be countless milestones to celebrate and great news to share.”

Harris says that she is energized by strategic internal and external communications opportunities. Additionally, Harris brings a diverse skill set to her role. She has experience with reporting, videography, writing and podcasting. There will be many stories to tell and many platforms on which to share the excitement with the Clemson University community.

“The important work of communications and storytelling begins with creating great relationships. I am looking forward to being a part of the Clemson Family and lifting up the people and programs that have made the University a nationally recognized brand.”

Harris is a proud pet parent to her Great Dane, Scout, and her cat, Meatball. She is happy to be back home with family and friends.
