Clemson University announced today Upstate locations including main campus, CU-ICAR, GreenvilleONE, CUBEInC in Patewood and the Innovation Campus and Technology Park in Anderson will be closed Sunday, January 16 due to winter weather anticipated to hit the area late Saturday night into Sunday.

The latest National Weather Service forecast for the Upstate predicts accumulating snowfall likely to begin late Saturday evening, shifting to a mixture of rain, snow, sleet, and potentially freezing rain. The current projections include travel on roadways and sidewalks being hazardous, and potential power outages. Detailed tips on what to do before, during and after a storm are available on SC Emergency Management Division’s Severe Winter Weather Guide. Stay alert to changing conditions and seek shelter if the weather turns threatening.

COVID-19 Testing, Cooper Library and Fike Recreation Center will be closed on Sunday. Other closures and adjusted hours can be found through the resources listed below.

Please report any on-campus power outages to CUPD at 864-656-2222.
