Volunteers sought for Clemson, Anderson and Seneca Juneteenth celebrations

Area cities have planned Juneteenth celebrations, and volunteers are needed for each event. Faculty and staff may wish to participate and/or volunteer.

All events will be held this Saturday.


City of Clemson

Saturday, June 18, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Location: Nettles Park, 101 Nettles Park Rd, Clemson, S.C. 29631

Two volunteer opportunities:

  • On June 18, volunteers are needed between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to assist with setup, takedown, parking and facilitating the various events/programs. Click HERE to volunteer to help with the event.
  • On June 18 and as part of the above celebration, volunteers are needed for the Clemson University table for the Woodland Cemetery and African American Burial Ground History Preservation Project. Contact Brian Stack at bestack@clemson.edu if interested.
