Traffic on Newman Road will be affected by underground utility construction beginning December 4.

Newman Road will be reduced to single lanes in both directions between McMillan and Perimeter roads while crews remove a section of the median. Once the median is removed, southbound traffic will be diverted to the northbound side to allow for single-lane travel in both directions.

Single-lane traffic in both directions will move to the southbound side until the project is finished, which is projected to be December 15.

Lambda Street: Lambda Street, which provides access to the E-3 parking lot and Lee Hall will be converted to two-way traffic from Perimeter Road beginning December 19 due to the Williamson Road realignment project. Two-way traffic is projected to revert to one-way by August 31, 2023.

In phase 1 of the Newman Road project, traffic will be reduced to single lanes in each direction as the median is removed.
In phase 2, southbound traffic will be diverted to the northbound lanes.
In phase 3, northbound traffic will be diverted to the southbound lanes until the project is finished.
Lambda Street will be converted to two-way traffic beginning December 19.
