Our Clemson

The Nook and the Paw Pantry just got a bit sweeter. Now, the pantries need Clemson faculty and staff to help spread the love.

Thanks to a generous donation from Skippy, 5,000 jars of peanut butter are now at The Nook and Paw Pantry. To celebrate the donation and bolster the pantries’ supply of these staples, both pantries are holding a “Just Jelly” food drive to collect peanut butter’s perfect match: jelly!

Faculty and staff can drop off jelly and other non-perishable items at either location. Drop-off boxes are also available in Sikes Hall, the Administrative Services Building (108 Perimeter Road) and Mell Hall. Additionally, units or individuals may email thenook@clemson.edu to arrange a pickup.

The Nook is Clemson’s employee-focused pantry. It supports colleagues experiencing food insecurity or financial hardships. The pantry is open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with extended hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursdays. It is located at 141 Klugh Avenue and is open to all Clemson employees.

The Paw Pantry serves students, both undergraduate and graduate, in Sirrine Hall, Room 233. It is currently open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Individuals may direct questions to The Nook (thenook@clemson.edu) or the Paw Pantry (pawpantry@clemson.edu).
