Below are images of leaf-litter arthropod insects that can be found in the high Appalachian Mountains. Clemson University entomology professor Michael Caterino is leading a study to thoroughly document arthropods such as insects, millipedes and their relatives living in leaf litter located in forests found on the mountains.
