Several construction phases beginning the weeks of June 3 and June 10 will affect traffic and parking on Clemson University’s main campus.
Section of Cherry Road to close from June 10—July 3
Beginning Wednesday, June 5, eastbound traffic on Perimeter Road will be reduced to a single lane between Newman Road and Highway 76 until August, weather permitting. The lane closure is required to install security fencing along Perimeter Road for the S.C. Botanical Gardens.

Alumni and Visitors Center construction to affect Madren Center parking, Walker Pro Shop
Visitors to the Madren Center, Solé on the Green, and Walker Golf Course will notice that the Alumni and Visitors Center construction site has expanded into Madren’s northern parking area and the Walker Pro Shop. A temporary Pro Shop and new parking area for golfers are located on Lake Drive west of the driving range. These closures will remain in place until November 2024.
