CLEMSON — The sixth annual Tigers for Babies 5K Sunday will raise money for the March of Dimes, which focuses on preventing premature birth through its Prematurity Research Centers.

Students, staff, community members and other Clemson organizations will come together to raise funds for this cause.

The day will kick off with the Tigers for babies 5K run at 2:30 p.m. The run will begin and end at The Esso Club.

Following the run, there will be awards, free food, drink, live music from the Brooks Dixon Band and other fun activities.

Many Clemson students have been involved in the planning process for this event.

“We have three student interns helping our presence on campus, over 50 PRTM students will serve as our event volunteers on November 18th as well as a few fundraising teams, including Clemson University’s Marketing Association and ClemsonLIFE,” said Greenville County March of Dimes development manager Katie Peden, “We are so grateful for the support of these students and look forward to growing our efforts for the health of all moms and babies.”

The event is open to the public. For more information, visit: https://itsabouttime.run/event-registration/?ee=131.
