Clemson Announces Incentives for Proof of Vaccine Uploads

As part of the University’s ongoing efforts to encourage vaccination for those who are able, Clemson today announced incentives available for those who voluntarily upload proof of vaccination through its Proof of Vaccination Upload ToolView the official terms and conditions for this promotion.

Students who upload a completed vaccination record before Sept. 30, 2021, will receive $50 of Paw Points loaded onto their TigerOne card. Paw Points can be used at on-campus locations including dining facilities. More information on Paw Points is available here.

Additionally, every student AND employee who upload proof of vaccine prior to Sept. 30, 2021, will be eligible for a drawing for additional prizes. Students and employees who have already uploaded proof of vaccine DO NOT need to do so again.

STUDENT DRAWING

  • 20 students will receive a $300 Barnes and Noble gift card
  • 10 students will receive a new iPad or laptop
  • 5 students will receive two academic semesters of an unlimited meal plan
  • 1 student will receive a free tuition for two academic semesters

EMPLOYEE DRAWING

  • 1,200 employees will receive a Tervis or Hydroflask drinkware items of their choice
  • 150 employees will receive a meal plan (50 meals) for as long as they are employed by Clemson University
  • 50 employees will receive an iPad
  • 10 employees will receive a reserved parking space on main campus, subject to University parking regulations

More information on the drawing, including registration details, will be forthcoming. If selected, non-main campus drawing winners will receive an award applicable to their location.

ON-CAMPUS VACCINE CLINIC

Clemson is providing walk-up vaccination clinic today through Saturday, Aug. 14 and next week from Monday, Aug. 16 through Saturday, Aug. 21 at the testing location in Fike Gymnasium adjacent to the Swann Fitness Center. More information available here.

VACCINE INFORMATION

Clemson does not require COVID-19 vaccines but strongly encourages anyone who wants and is able to receive a COVID-19 vaccine to do so. You can read more about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines from the CDC and DHEC.

De-identified data submitted through the upload tool will be used to assist University administration in continued health and safety planning. Identifiable data may be used to implement quarantine exceptions in accordance with CDC and DHEC guidelines.
